Episode 49- The Incredible Hobson (x)
I like the classification of “Hard vs Soft magic systems” in fantasy only because I can say that Game of Thrones has softer magic system then Fairly Odd Parents

GoT magic: plot armor, special effects fiasco
Fairly Odd Parents magic: has consequences, is limited in power and the time in which it is available to a given non-magical creature, is utterly neutral and entirely dependent on the wishes of the user
What I love about the FOP magic system most is you don’t get to know the rules before using it though. You don’t get to figure out what you can’t do until you try to do it and some buff dude with wings shows up and yells at you for trying to do it.
…and then you re-word your request and somehow do it anyway and they have to re-edit the book again cause the hubris of mistreated 10-year-olds knows no bounds.
Its always "why is this mom selling her daughter" and never "why is one direction buying a person" smh
We are the daughters of the girls you couldn't sell to one direction
i just learned from animal crossing that pondskaters stay on top of the water by secreting an oil from their feet
that seems kinda obvious in hindsight. i always figured they were just, like, light enough to not break surface tension
They do it by using fucked up and evil magic and they hate god
These ten ducklings were found orphaned and they were brought to a pet duck called Stella who had just hatched nine of her own two weeks prior. She immediately claimed the ten as her own.

she released those babies like a ramen flavour packet
love how stella swims over like “oh shit i must’ve misplaced these ten whole babies!”
Love how the li’l ramen flavor packets swim over like ‘oh shit that must be mom, she’s mom-shaped’
found-family speedrun
People are complaining that certain places are gonna start requiring a covid vaccine as if this is the first ever "mandatory" (not even) vaccine. You received like 6 vaccines when you were a baby and a couple more as you got older. Countries have been requiring yellow fever vaccines. Most schools you need certain vaccines to attend this isn't new. Immunization cards are not a new concept
